Flux needed a platform that could handle real-time data across thousands of concurrent users — without looking like it was built in 2015. The UX had to be fast, the code had to be clean, and the motion had to make the whole thing feel alive.
The brief was deceptively simple: rebuild the entire product. What that meant in practice was a complete architectural overhaul — moving from a monolithic legacy codebase to a Next.js edge-first architecture, paired with a custom motion system that made every state transition feel intentional. We had six weeks. We shipped in five.
